Independence of the Seas

The RCI ship Independence of the Seas will set sail in 2008 - make sure you're onboard! The Independence of the Seas defines the ultimate in cruise ships, with its interactive water park (including FlowRider - the onboard wave generator for surfing), an ice skating rink, rock climbing wall, boxing ring, swimming pools, whirlpools, shopping malls, numerous bars and restaurants, and evening entertainment.

The Independence of the Seas will make her first debut next year. Departing from Southampton in Summer 2008, the RCI cruise itinerary includes tours of the Mediterranean, Italian coast and Canary Islands. The ship will be the third of these pioneering Freedom Class vessels and is currently under construction in Finland. The vessel will accommodate up to 3,634 guests onboard.

The 14-night Mediterranean RCI cruise itinerary features visits to world-class destinations, including the cosmopolitan city of Barcelona, the Renaissance city of Florence, and medieval Lisbon. Alternatively the 14-night Italian Mediterranean RCI cruise itinerary includes Gibraltar, Monte Carlo, Pisa, Rome, Sardinia and Seville to name but a few.
